One Month Old!

(It only took me 2 weeks to finish this post!)

Camdyn Delainey

Hard to believe it, but the girls are already 1 month old! They saw the pediatrician today for their one month check up and got a great report. Delainey has grown 3.5 inches since birth! She measured 21 inches long and weighed 7 lbs 8 ounces. Camdyn is growing very well too, although she is still quite petite compared to her sister. She weighs 5 lbs 13 ounces and is 18 inches long. The doctor thinks that by 4 months old, Camdyn could catch up with her sister...in fact, her feet and hands are actually the same size as Delainey's already! And although she is small, she sure is a tough little thing!

The girls are starting to become more alert and we are enjoying getting to know them as they spend more time awake. Delainey loves being cuddled and does not want to be put down most of the time. Camdyn falls asleep easily and sleeps much more than Delainey does.

They both sleep so well cuddled up together in the bouncer! I don't think they will both fit in there much longer!

At night, they sleep in the same crib, which we plan to continue for a few more months until they start moving around and disturbing one another.

Jeff's mom, "Gigi," is visiting this week. It is so nice to have an extra pair of hands to help hold and feed the babies, especially one that is experienced with twins! And it's always great to have someone else to dote on Cole and give him lots of extra attention.

Well, it is off to bed for me so I can get a couple of hours of sleep before the next round of feeding begins! Good night!
